How's the dial-up working for you these days?
I tell you, with technology like that, it's hard to believe anything better could come along. LOL!
That's a good one, I know. Not that anyone actually ever thought dial-up was the bomb.
Okay, so maybe a few people did, but that was simply due to the gargantuan Internet craze. We were all so flabbergasted by the World-Wide-Web and the inexplicable access to cyberspace, that we weren't paying too close of attention to that horrific dial-up noise, and the constant out-of-the-blue cut-offs.
However, these days it's an entirely different story. Now we want our cake and we sure as heck want to eat it too. We've seen the grass on the other side, and we're certainly not settling for a brown, sun-scorched lawn.
I like to keep up on the top Internet service providers and their deals. Currently I am with a tiny company known as RoadRunner. Well, it's actually not so tiny. The truth is they serve millions of web-surfers on a daily basis.
Are you a RoadRunner customer?
Hey, they did have a pretty sweet package deal going when I signed up with them. Wireless cable high speed Internet, unlimited long distance, and a decent cable TV package, all at one low monthly cost. I love those sorts of things. The smaller I can make my monthly bills, and the less of them I have to grapple with, the better.
Some of the other top Internet service providers now days are Comcast and AOL. I'm sure you've stumbled across those at one time or another.
These days it's all about the speed. Who is offering the highest speed for the lowest price.
Since we all live in a world of chaos, where time is hard to come by and patience are little to nil, cable high-speed Internet is mandatory. No one wants to wait around for that web page to load or that media clip to finish. We all want fast and hassle free results.
