CONTENT. Give your visitors what they want most - Content!

The information you provide needs to be targeted directly on your theme. You may need to write the main pages yourself, but there are many options for filling in extra content for your site such as articles from ezine directories and from private label sites.

LINKS. Getting links from other sites will boost your popularity with the search engines so is highly recommended. However, don't get links from just anyone. Instead, get links from relevant sites.

As in our example above, if you were creating a website on cars you would want links from other car sites. You would do even better if the links were from other sites that have information about Mustangs.

A link from your friend Joe's site on a completely different subject is of no value. So, search the Internet for web sites that are related to your interest and ask the webmasters to link to your site, in return for you providing a link to their site.
